The Nibco lead-free cast iron, spring actuated silent check valve reduces noise for quiet operation. The twin disc check valve is grooved end style. Check valves prevent backflow by automatically closing when fluid reverses direction. The check valve is recommended for commercial and industrial water applications only. The check valve includes renewable bronze discs. Grooved silent check valves may be installed in horizontal positions (or vertical with flow moving up). Nibco check valves are backed by the Nibco 5-years 125% limited warranty.
