The Chemtrol Tru-Bloc true union ball valve is engineered with a self-adjusting seat and upstream and downstream blocking capability to stop flow when an alternate union is removed for servicing the piping system. The valve's injection molded PVC construction with FKM O-ring is ideal for use in chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, chemical drainage and irrigation systems. The original Chemtrol true union design allows the valve and operational components to be conveniently lifted from the piping system for repair or replacement. Tru-Bloc advances the true union concept with the self-adjusting energizer O-ring. The valve can be easily joined with the socket end connections. PVC Schedule 80 exhibits excellent corrosion resistance properties and has the highest long-term hydrostatic strength of any other major thermoplastic material used for piping systems. Chemtrol PVC valves are lightweight, easy to install, maintenance-free and will not rust, scale, pit or corrode. Chemtrol valves are backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
