The Nibco lug type butterfly valve provides bi-directional dead-end service without a downstream flange, and bubble-tight shut-off at 200 psi. The valve is ideal for commercial and some light industrial process applications, compressed air and vacuum services. The Nibco ductile iron butterfly valve provides ease of operation with quarter-turn (90 deg) open to close. The unique molded-in Buna-N seat liner with aluminium bronze disc provides good abrasion resistance properties and compatibility with solvents, oil, water and hydraulic fluid for compressed air and vacuum applications. With the internal stem/disc geometric drive design there is no need for pins or bolts that may create leak paths or turbulence in the waterway. An extended neck allows for insulation up to 2 in. Nibco butterfly valves are backed by the Nibco 5-years 125% limited warranty.
